by Brett Dalton. here is a disucssion on it here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51928404/is-there-a-google-api-to-verify-if-a-gmail-is-valid-from-java Basically you try and retrieve the user profile data via the API. I'm assuming that they would need to build a plugin as part of some auth/provisioning system, but it would be good to understand the entire flow that is trying to be achieved. Its likely its better served outside Moodle than part of the system.
