Winter is also an excuse to up-the-anti on sparkle and shimmer, either with sequinned embellishment on your wedding gown or adding dramatic jewellery dont worry about up staging the bride because you can get away with more sparkle when the winter nights are getting longer! To carry around your absolute essentials, the bag of choice this season is a cute little box clutch to accent your wedding dress.
If you do prefer mid-length or calf skimming style wedding gowns or wedding dresses then there are plenty of gorgeous lace, patterned tights around to modernise the look and up the glamour stakes. To keep off the winter chill, a pair of long gloves are a good option.
Starting with a cover up fur was everywhere on the Autumn/Winter 2011 shows, I personally prefer faux as was seen at Chanel but each to their own! A chic fur stole or cover up will add drama, glamour and most importantly warmth to a winter wedding look. Next, a longer, floor skimming length dress will again offer warmth and hide thick tights worn underneath! Velvet maxi wedding dresses are very on trend at the moment and look beautiful but there are plenty of other luxe winter fabrics around in rich colours or metallics.
Reach out to current brides through social media and bloggers, they are what makes or breaks your local reputation. People share opinions online and since there are too many choices on where to buy a wedding dress or bridal gown, opinions count a lot in making the decision.
Mother of the Bride is very next important woman in the wedding after the Bride; take care to not steal the thunder on your daughter’s wedding and keep it simple but elegant and as per the wedding theme.
